A Nature Reserve Reimagined for Rest and Meaning
Welcome to a place where the forest is alive, your stay makes a difference, and everything is designed for peace, privacy, and purpose.
Cielo Ranch Reserve is a privately protected wildlife refuge and jungle retreat near La Fortuna, Costa Rica. We host only one group at a time — offering exclusive access to Casa Cielo Jungle House, six kilometers of trails, rivers, wildlife, and the story of a forest that came back to life.
Whether you’re staying overnight or visiting for the day, this is your place to reconnect — with nature, with your people, and with something real.

Why Cielo Ranch is Different?

Private by Design
One group. Full access. No shared spaces, ever.

Rooted in Restoration
This isn’t a themed experience — it’s a real, 20-year reforestation project.

Effortless & Personal
We plan everything: transport, tours, meals, car rentals — you just arrive and breathe.
A story of restoration, patience, and purpose
A Conservation Project Built from the Ground Up
Two decades. 12,000 trees. One family’s mission to bring back the jungle.
In 2006, this land was a worn-out dairy farm. We started planting trees — native hardwoods, fruit trees, restoration species. Now the canopy has returned. The animals are back. And you’re invited to walk it, stay in it, and become part of its future.
